BOOKING YOUR HOLIDAY. All bookings can be made on the form provided or simply call us on telepnone/email contact details on this site o. A £100-£200 deposit will be required to secure the booking.. If you book within 8 weeks of departure the full holiday cost will be requested, we will send you our confirmation/receipt which acts as our acceptance of your booking accordingly.
A seperate £100 cheque will be required which will act as security against any damages - this will not be banked ie we are not too concerned on the odd plate or glass accidently breaking. The tv, beds a/c units etc are our main concerns. The villa will be checked in your presence at the start and the end of your holiday. The cheque will be returned to you upon clearance by the house keeper/ management taking care of our bookings.

PAYING THE BALANCE. The full price of the holiday must be paid to the owner at least 8 weeks prior to the departure date. If full payment is not made at least 8 weeks prior to the departure date the owner reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. A receipt will be forwarded accordingly once full funds are received and cleared.

DECLARATION. The full names of all who will be staying at 'Diamantina Villa' will be required.

CANCELLATION OF HOLIDAY. Most cancellation insurance is part of the insurance cover and is affected automatically when you make your booking (Holiday insurance should be arranged and taken out by the client). Therefore depending on the reason for your cancellation the charges will usually be refunded under the terms of the holiday insurance, depending on what type of policy you have obtained.
a). BY CLIENT. If you are found to cancel your holiday a charge will be made. The amount of the charge will vary according to when the cancellation is received. All cancellations must be in writing and be signed by the person who initiated the Booking. If a cancellation is made more than 8 weeks before intended departure, only the deposit is forfeited. Otherwise the scale of charges below applies.
2-8 weeks before departure: 50% of holiday cost – Less than 2 weeks 100%
b) BY THE OWNER. It is unlikely that the owner will have to alter your holiday, however, as arrangements are made far in advance, events beyond our control sometimes dictate changes. Minor changes will be made known to you before departure, if possible. Should we have to cancel your holiday you will be refunded your deposit accordingly. If the Client cancels following a major change to the holiday, the deposit and any other monies will be returned in full.

OCCUPANCY. 'Diamantina Villa' can accomodate upto 5/6 persons maximum.
